With Halloween approaching, you’re probably scrambling to find the perfect quick and easy costume to string together. Lucky for you, I’ve composed a list of the best costume ideas to wear with your bra! These can all be DIY and are fun, flattering, and best of all, can be worn under your clothes afterward. Because who doesn’t love a costume-turned-lingerie piece?
1. Mermaid: simply glue sea shells onto each cup. This can be one huge sea shell per cup, or a collection of small sea shells filling up the cup. Add pearls around the band and straps along with netting for that extra mermaid splash.
2. Belly Dancer/Genie/Princess Jasmine: use gems and sheer fabric to create a magical costume. All you need is…a whole new bra.
3. Rave Girl/Go-Go Dancer: you have lots of options with this theme. Use sparkles, lights, studs, spikes, and any crafts you can get your hands on to make a crazy fun bra to dance the night away in.
4. Pokemon: draw by hand, glue a picture, or go all out and create the logo in gems.
5. Popular Celebrity Outfit: channel your inner Katy Perry or Miley Cyrus and strut your own version of their concert outfits.
6. Cupcake: get tasty with a delicious dessert on your chest. Nothing says spooky quite like a pair of yummy cupcakes.
7. Victoria’s Secret Angel: wear any Victoria’s Secret bra and strut your stuff while you trick-or-treat. Angel wings and/or a VS robe add a glamorous effect.
8. Gumball Machine: glue tiny colorful pompoms to your bra and BAM you are a candy eating feeding machine. You’re a trick and a treat.
9. Eve: grab some leaves and paste ’em over those cups. Hold an apple for effect.
10. Hippy: all the fringe. And peace sings. Lots and lots of peace signs.
11. Skeleton: this costume might get handsy with some skeletal fingers feeling you up.
12. Flower: glue fake flowers allover your bra and feel the floral essence of your outfit all night long.
13. Angel/Devil: super easy! Wear wings and a halo with a white bra, or devil horns with a red bra. You’re good, bad, and sexy all in one!
14. Superheros: draw or glue the logo onto a blank bra. Feel the superpowers of your chest throughout the night.
15. Sun and Moon: yellow and blue glitter + circular shapes = a bra costume fit for any time of day.
16. Patriotic: show your Americana side by using stars and stripes fabric along with sparkles, gems, and rhinestones to express your love for the U.S.A.
17. BOO-bies: when in doubt quickly draw ghosts on each bra cup and creep out people with your cleavage.
